The City of Carlsbad’s camps offers the best possible opportunities for physical, emotional and social growth, combined with a whole lot of fun. This year’s camp lineup includes sports, science, arts, aquatics and more for kids 3 to 16. Summer camps run from June 19 through Aug. 25.

“Our Community Services Guide is filled with more than 75 pages of activities for your child to enjoy during the summer, including hundreds of camps, classes and swim lessons for children of all ages and ability,” said City of Carlsbad Senior Management Analyst Bonnie Elliott. “We also offer cooking, creative arts, archery camps, even a camp on how to survive in the wilderness or how to engineer with LEGOs, so there’s truly a camp for every interest.”  Elliott encourages parents to sign up early since many camps sell out.
