Fitness Room Grand Reopening

The Carlsbad Senior Center Fitness Room is closed starting March 13 to support the County of San Diego's public health order issued March 12. The order starts at midnight March 12 and is in effect through March 31. Read more.

On Monday, July 1, the Carlsbad Senior Center reopened its doors to its to the newly remodeled and upgraded Fitness Room. Members can now experience a state of the art center with cardio equipment, circuit training and free weights in a safe, positive and welcoming environment for seniors over the age of 50. 

At a Glance

  • A new CyberCycle was added to the Fitness Room equipment which exercises the Mind and Body. It’s not just a bike, it’s a wellness program. The CyberCyle provides turnkey challenge programs with monthly leaderboards. 
  • Friendly staff and volunteers are on hand to answer questions and give instruction on the new equipment every Monday from 1 to 2 p.m.
  • Fitness room hours are Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Members must be over the age of 50.     
  • Prices are $297 for an annual membership, $77 for a quarterly and $27 for monthly passes. See membership information

Beyond the new machines, motivational messages adorn the walls to remind and inspire members that health is their greatest wealth!
