Earth Month 2021: Celebrate Sustainability

Join the city’s Environmental Management Department to celebrate Earth Day’s 51st anniversary with events and activities throughout the month of April. Earth Day is an opportunity to reflect on our community’s commitment to responsible stewardship of the environment. Enjoy fun activities and a showcase of city programs aimed to help you reduce your impact on the environment and live more sustainably. Help us celebrate Earth Day by participating and encouraging others to participate in these events! Due to COVID-19, several of these events will be virtual (via Zoom).

Shred and Recycle It!

Shred and recycle sensitive documents in an environmentally responsible way for free.

E-Waste Drop-Off 

April 3, 10, 17, 24, 8 a.m. - noon and 12:40 - 4 p.m.

Help divert waste away from the landfill by properly disposing of electronic waste that could be reused, refurbished or recycled. Free with proof of residency.

Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off 

April 10, 17, 24, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Please note April 3 date has been canceled by the facility) 
Drop off household hazardous waste including old motor oil, paint, chemicals, batteries, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs and electronics for free with proof of residency.

Join your friends and neighbors for the annual Creek to Bay Cleanup.
